Like all VSC products, the quality is unmatched. The etched logo aligns perfectly and it’s beautiful replacement for the stock plastic yellow cap. Nice knurled edges for removal and replacement and it provides a very clean and unique addition to the engine bay.

Does not seal as configured. Had to mill the oil filler cap to accept a Subaru oil filler gasket. Reached out to VSC for support, no response. I’m still having issues with the cap on cold days causing a vacuum leak resulting in a high idle. Cool cap but don’t be surprised if you get a vacuum leak as a result of using one.

I have the black oil cap on my 09 wrx. It makes the frequent oil changes much easier. The ugly yellow cap would always get stuck. This cap is always perfectly snug and centered!
